The Santa Fe Escarpment Ordinance greatly limited improvement options on this dramatic ridge-top site. Building footprints, exterior living areas and the auto court entry are carved into an east-west saddle and low masses are screened from public view by the untouched ridge to the west and rigorous maintenance of existing tree cover. Traditional Santa Fe design is updated by the contemporary layout, materials and detailing.
